Strangest Import

People always ask me about the strangest or grossest treats that I ate on my trip to Japan, and frankly I think I have a winner in both categories.

I bought these on suggestion for the “book” and man are they ever strange. The best way to describe them is fish bones covered in a sweet sauce with sesame seeds. I’m told that people eat them like chips but that only leads me to believe that Japanese people really don’t like chips.

I’ve had a few and managed to get them down. They basically taste and feel like you would image.
