Tasty Chocolate Tasting

A little while back the NCA sent me a notice about a chocolate tasting seminar they where having. Unfortunately I couldn’t go, I was a little disappointed but I quickly forgot about it and moved on. Then a about a week ago a package came to my door.The package was full of great information about chocolate, including some great info on the science and history.
Best of all they also included a huge range of samples from the tasting seminar for me to try at home. Even though I’ve sampled many chocolates in my life, I’ve never had such a variety at one time delivered all together.

They even sent a couple of whole cocoa beans for me to check out.

Allison and I spent an evening tasting all kinds of chocolate treats and we really learnt a lot. If anybody ever says that all chocolate tastes the same (even that all dark or milk chocolates taste the same) you send them my way.
