Candy Fact 1

Here is the first of a new weekly instalment on the Candy Critic blog all about interesting facts dealing with Candy. I figure it’s best to start off with a Japanese fact seeing as I’m presently writing this blog in Japan.
The candy company Meiji is named after the Emperor Meiji who brought Japan into a state of modernization. It is said that Emperor Meiji is responsible for the fact that Japan is one of the most modern societies today.
