Today I took a little walking trip to the Yume-no-shima Tropical Greenhouse Dome. They had all kinds of great flowers and trees to check out.
They have a great collection of fruit trees, including this star fruit tree (this is the first time I’ve ever seen one in person).
And this Durian tree, no fruit on it now but it was still neat to see and another first for me.
Best of all they had a cocoa tree as well. The fruit looked really ripe and I so wanted to try one.
I’ve heard that the fruit from the cocoa bean is really tasty, and it kind of tastes like chocolate.

It sure does, but that's only when you open up the fruit. The tree and the fruit all closed up are fine.
