Last summer in Japan I saw macaroons everywhere. They were the most popular treat available in high-end stores and convenience stores. They came in all shapes and sizes and as many varieties as one could imagine. Well it appears this trend is starting to get bigger and I for one am excited to see how this goes, because I love a good macaroon.
