Apparently It Was Today That Europe Discovered Chocolate

I mean it wasn't really this day as in today. It was this day in 1550 that Europe (according to Wired Magazine) discovered the fine drinks that the folks in Mexico and South America had been drinking for many years before. This all lead to other experiments and those led to the type of chocolate we eat today. Stranger still is the return popularity of drinking cocoa as a simple hot drink once again.
