Did you know that the Finnish people love licorice? Every single Finnish person I've ever met knows more about the complex flavours of licorice than me. I've even flipped through a Finnish book all about the history and cultural significance of licorice... or at least that's what I think it was about, I don't read Finnish, but the pictures seem to point me in that direction. They also drink a special drink made up of licorice, and I'm not talking about the root. I'm talking about an alcoholic drink made with licorice candy, it's black, strong, and really scary looking.
