The Great Candy Barter

Many people ask me where I get all of the candies that I review on Candy Critic.  Sometimes candy companies send me samples to try, other times I actually discover the treats myself, but I have one other method of getting treats that's even more exciting.  I have a group of friends that love candy, maybe even as much as I do.  This group of friends get to do something that I'm sure many of you reading this blog would love to do, they get to sample many of the treats that I sample.  I call this exchange of candy (actually one of the friends named it) the "Great Candy Barter".

The people in this circle of friends not only get to sample my treats, but they contribute treats and are reviewed on Candy Critic.  It's like an inner circle of candy fanatics.  I can't really tell you how you could join this group, because I'm not really sure how it's started with my current group of friends.  All I can say is I do share most of my candy, and many treats that I review are in fact gifts from others.

The best thing about this group of friends is our love of sweet treats, as well as our love of discovering new treats and sharing them with the world.
