First and foremost let me tell you about Andrew’s blog. He’s got all kinds of stuff on gadgets that I frankly can’t even imagine. He’s smart, funny, and pretty darn good at mugging in his own photos. He’s also a great man because I wanted to try some of these crazy Crunky Bars and he was nice enough to send me some from his trip in Japan.
Andrew you’ve improved the life of an obsessed candy fanatic, you truly are a fine man.Click here to check out Andrew's blog.

I’m thinking that timing when I do this review properly would be best. Maybe I could do it right before volunteering at an old folks home, or maybe just before my high wire practice.
This chunk of chocolate cleverly concealed a whole bunch of coconut. Is there anything milk chocolate can’t do?

Secondly I decided to go through my candy stash. I do this every few years to make sure nothing is going bad or at least oozing too much. Most gets chucked and some gets back into the review line up. I also update all my computer files too just to be sure I have the shots I need to review this stuff.

This morning I decided to treat myself to a little package of hot cereal. I needed it because I really didn’t get much sleep last night (a scary storm came through). I didn’t just want warm comfort food either; I also wanted a simulated archaeology dig too.
I grabbed a little bag of Dino Eggs hot cereal and went to town. These eggs may reveal an important fact about how we came to be.
They do! It appears that we’re here to snack on small candy dinosaurs.
Breakfast can be fun!
As expected the chocolate was horrible and the caramel had no taste at all. But the names make up for everything. In fact I think I like these names even more than the original.
Also I just found a grocery store with a huge selection of kosher candy. Some of it is just your classic treats but they have some great strange stuff that I can’t wait to try out.
Unfortunately I don’t have any new licorice photos, so I decided to post one that’s available sale in the store. Here’s the fact: “In the 1500s, crusaders returning from the Middle East introduced licorice to England.”

Today’s licorice fact: “The warriors of Alexander the Great believed that licorice possessed beneficial properties. The armies would use licorice to satisfy their thirst while on long marches.”
“In King Tut’s 3000 year or tomb, vast quantities of licorice root were found among magnificent treasures of art and jewellery.”
“Licorice appears in the Chinese book Shen nung Pen Tsao Ching (Classic Book of Herbs) that was written more than 5,000 years ago. Chinese physicians have used licorice with herbal medicines as a sweetener to mask the bitter taste of medicine.”
They also sent me a list of Licorice facts as well. To celebrate I’m going to give you guys a new licorice history fact every day for the next six days. You’ll be a licorice historian in no time. When I say no time I mean six days and when I say historian I mean you’ll know a little more then you did when you started reading this blog.

But that doesn’t even come close to this. This is the worst mix of Jelly Beans I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure but it looks like they just combined all the flavours that didn’t sell into one bin. I mean I don’t see a single green or red one, and they’re the best.
