A Pictures says… what?

Loblaws (a big chain here in Canada) has changed the packaging on their “No Name” discount groceries again back to the no frills look. I’m ok with not dressing up inexpensive food and cutting the cost on graphic design, but is the ugly food photo really necessary. How about you just skip it and describe what’s inside. Or do copywriters get paid more than photographers?
