To celebrate this most illustrious of all holidays I’ve decided to chow down on a Burnt Almond Bar.
This particular treat was a favourite of my sisters when we where kids and I couldn’t figure out why anybody would want a burnt chocolate bar over a bag of gummy bears or a Tootsie Pop. As I grew older I developed a taste for dark chocolate and I guess these aren’t that bad, although the chocolate is a little waxy.CC

I'm not sure what's more important to me, the holidays or the treats attached to them.
