We All Have a "Gut Brain"

I just read a very fascinating article about some food scientists at Nestle that want to develop food that makes you feel more full for a longer time.  The goal is to curb your appetite and help people eat less.  Most interesting is the information about a part of your body that they call the "gut brain".  Apparently our stomachs have 500 million nerve cells, the same number of nerve cells as a cat has in their whole brain.  I'm not sure if this information makes me happy, or slightly afraid that my stomach has the brain power to revolt.

Click here to learn more about your "gut brain".
