My friend Zoe always brings me strange treats from her travels through the Greek islands. These two treats are a textural wonder and very sweet. The treat on the left is really soft in the middle, but almost crunchy on the outside. It tastes very citrus like but I'm pretty sure the base is almond. The one on the right was the most terrifying of the two because the outer white coating felt like a translucent paste. The flavour of this cookie can best be described as similar to that of Christmas fruit cake, so I'm not sure how you feel about that.
