I've seen dozens of candies use the term "Kiss" in their name or description, but frankly I'm not really sure what it means. Most of us are familiar with Hershey's Kisses, which are basically giant chocolate chips. I generally notice that candies labeled with the word "kiss" tend to be bite sized, and I guess you kiss and bite with your mouth. So maybe that's where the connection comes from the idea that a single sweet taste can be likened to a nice kiss from your special someone.
