I just picked up one of these Thermo Works thermometers and I can't wait to try it out for making candy and other temperature important sweet treats. Any candy maker will tell you that knowing the temperature of your candy or chocolate is the key to making the perfect sweet treats. In fact, I've watched some of the best candy makers in the world, who have been making candy for longer than I've been alive, and they still use thermometers all the time. I'm hoping that this new fancy thermometer works really well, and I'm thinking I might start out with some maple peanut brittle.
