Tom's Look At The Visual Side Of Snacks And Candy - Russell Stover Halloween Treats

These flavours were among the fastest to sell in these Russell Stover chocolates. I loved the illustrations on the wrappers! It’s a familiar style influenced by modern Japanese animation “cute” style, done with fun personality. Just look how well the ingredient characters seem to get along (especially the coconut shard with an arm embracing the pumpkin)! How could these NOT taste great?! And they are mighty tasty!

It's Our Official Halloween Review - Oozing Skulls

I was going through our list of Halloween themed candies that we've reviewed and I realized something. The odds of getting many of the candies on that list in your trick or treat bag is pretty slim. It made me realize that there's two categories of Halloween candy out there. There's the stuff you get in you trick or treat bag, that's often just shrunk down versions of regular candy. Then there's the Halloween themed treats that might be a little spookier, but not really the right format to give out.

This actually made me a little bit sad. The more I looked at what kids want for Halloween, the more I realized that it wasn't really Halloween themed. Kids want regular candy, they don't care about the theme. This isn't anything new, when I was a kid most of the candy I wanted wasn't Halloween themed, and there were even several Halloween themed candies that would disappoint (I'm looking at you Halloween Kisses). So from a candy only perspective, Halloween isn't really Halloween themed.

I Discovered A New Kind Of Dessert - Dairy Milk "Tiffin"

I consider myself a pretty authoritative figure when it comes to sweets. It could be candy, snacks or desserts, but I think that I know a lot about anything with sugar. However, I still have lots to learn, and whenever I learn something new about sweet treats I'm super happy. While reviewing this chocolate bar, I learned that there's a dessert called  "Tiffin", and now I want to try it.

Amazing Halloween Candy/Junk Food Costumes That You Should Buy - Tootsie Pop Dress

I think that we can probably agree that this isn't really a Halloween costume. Some people might buy one of these for Halloween this year and pass it off as such. Some might also argue that this is a little too sexy to be a Halloween costume. I'm not someone who judges other people's fashion sense, so i will say nothing. What I will say is that I think as a dress this is a pretty neat look. I really like the retro graphics, and if I saw someone wearing this dress in public, I might even compliment them on the cool design.

We're Feeling The Burn - Skittles "Sweet Heat"

I don't think I'm a big fan of the overly spicy food trend that's going on right now. I'm not saying that spicy food doesn't have its place in food, I'm just wondering why some things have to be spicy, like these Skittles. I also don't like intense spicy for the sake of being intensely spicy, but that's like because I'm a spice wimp.
