Yet another state is dealing with the idea of having a tax on sweet products this time it’s New York. As with other attempts to tax sweet products both the health conscious and the candy/soda industries are going at it again. An interesting point brought up in this article is weather or not the extra money collected will go directly towards supporting health or if it will be spread to other areas needing funding.
