Salt Works With Sweet

I've said it a million times before but a sprinkle of salt on a sweet treat often does the trick. Take for instance one of my go to snacks. Salted peanuts and chocolate chips, mixed in a bowl, and then eaten. It's simple but it tastes so good, I call it "election mix" only because I always eat it while watching elections. That says a lot about how sad my life is.
