Someone spotted this new treat at Dunkin' Donuts and I'm not sure what to think. They're called Meat Munchkins and they look like little round donuts filled with ground beef. My first instinct is that it's a fake. But if this is a new treat then it adds more evidence that meat and donuts go well together. In fact it tells me that maybe I should try a donut burger.

I think they're sausages. Like Pigs in a Blanket, but more of a breakfast piab with maple pancakes around them instead.

It's funny, after reading this post and jperonto's comment I realized how silly it was of me to think that I've never tried donuts and meat together. A corn dog is pretty close, but I've also had pigs in a blanket with syrup drenched over it. So I guess I'm actually pretty familiar with this combination.
