I'm always conflicted about bad chocolate. Chocolate is a treat that often has a very close association of quality and price. It's very rare to get a really great piece of chocolate for a very cheap price. Having said that, I have had some disappointing expensive chocolate in the past. The reason inexpensive chocolate is often not great is fairly simple, cocoa is expensive. The reasons behind expensive chocolate being disappointing is a little harder to explain. My latest review is firmly in the the inexpensive, and not really great category. Maybe some day I'll be surprised, but for now I'll just keep tasting.
