Amazing Candy/Junk Food Things That You Should Buy - Zombie Pops
at
10:00 AM
This is a kind zombie roll flip thing. Normally zombies chase after you trying to eat your brains, but not with these. Instead you pop these in the freezer and try and eat their brains, as well as the entire upper half of their bodies. These would also work very well if you wanted to experiment with meat flavoured ice treats.

A Cool Candy Thing
at
9:00 AM
I can think of a million things that one could put in the bowl that would look so awesome. First of all any kind of porridge or oatmeal would look pretty cool, the more grey the better. If you wanted to go a little more complicated, red Jello with Cool Whip mixed in, with just a dash of cherry or strawberry syrup on top would also look really great. Any kind of deli meat with loads of ketchup and mayonnaise would also be sure to gross out anybody around you. Candy wise I would suggest hard candy that crunches, Chicken Bones candy would be particularly appropriate. Even the example above, Cheerios, looks kind of gruesome for some reason.

Classic/Creative Candy Advertising
at
12:00 PM
I love the idea that the un-dead can be used to sell candy bars. Any other time of the year (or if Halloween didn't exist) than this would just be the worst idea ever. However, come October, it's perfectly acceptable for a damned soul from beyond the grave to ask you to consider eating a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.

Candy Art - Scary Zombie Cake
at
12:00 PM
This might be the grossest, and best looking, zombie cake I've ever seen.
Apparently it's not really a cake, but actually a giant Rice Krispie Treat, frankly that might even make it better.
Click here to see more pictures of this awesome cake.

Candy Art - It's a Zombie Filled Day
at
12:00 PM
The idea of crossing zombies with sweet treats is not new, but these two examples are some of the crepiest I've ever seen. This popcorn bucket idea almost grosses me out enough to not want the popcorn... almost.
However this taxidermied zombie head gumball machine might actually cross that line.
I found the gumball machine here, and I found the popcorn bucket here.

Valentines Links... Part 2
at
2:00 PM
Think Geek has what I can only describe as the best zombie themed Valentines candies that I've ever seen.
I found a great list of Valentines Day desserts, the list is fine, the photo of a super tall chocolate cake makes me drool uncontrollably.
As always, TCHO has some of the best looking modern candy packaging I've seen all year.
Nestle has a list of special Valentines treats for the upcoming holiday, the Wonka Heart Toppers sound pretty good.

Strangest Easter Treat Ever?
at
4:09 PM
While randomly scrolling through Think Geek (one of my favorite online stores) I came across what I can only describe as one of the best/strangest Easter Treats ever. Maybe not for your traditionalist friend, but definitely for the weirdo in your life.

Cookies of The Un-dead
at
11:59 PM
About a year ago I came across this group of guys that made excellent looking zombie cookies, and now they're looking to make more and you could be lucky enough to be a zombie yourself:
"Happy Halloween!
The 2010 International Cheetham's Zombies Photo-Cookie model search begins August 1st 2010.
Born by a collaboration between Eric Maciejkow Myphotocookie.com & dark fiction writer James Cheetham, Zombie Cookies are an original and delicious new concept in Halloween treats.
Customers send a good clear head & shoulders photo (must be over 1 MB) to James Cheetham who transforms the subject into a creepy, colourful member of the wandering dead. That image is then transferred to fresh, tasty cookies (available in various flavours and colors) by Eric Maciejkow, owner of Myphotocookie.com and shipped out in time for Halloween events. These one of a kind delicacies are available for Halloween parties, Haunted Attractions, Zombie Walks, Socials and Movie Premieres.
Beyond offering individual Zombie cookies customized for the customer, Eric & James are holding their 2nd annual Zombie model search. Via online communities like Myspace & Facebook, the cookies have gathered quite the following, and in return, four people are given the chance of a lifetime simply by showing their support for the growing fad. From all the people 'officially infected' over the year, four of Cheetham's Zombies will be picked at random to become the 2010 Cheetham's Zombies Photo-Cookie designs, available to the general public should they not want to nibble on their own rotting images, they can even order a variety pack if preferred.
After the cookies were featured in the Winnipeg Free Press last year, showcased at comicon, and the Minneapolis Crypticon as well as various other media outlets, the 2010 Zombie Cookies are looking to expand their infection around the country."

Zombie Madness
at
11:55 AM
As of late I've been obsessed with zombie themed candy so James wrote me the following e-mail;
"Just wanted to tell you about our zombie cookies courtesy of Cheetham's Zombies and myphotocookie.com . Our cookies come out every year at Halloween. We take customers photos, turn them into one of the walking dead, and place them on delicious cookies for their Halloween celebrations...hope you find this delicious yet ghoulish concept interesting!"
This is a brilliant idea, although I'm really disappointed that it's only a Halloween thing, I want zombie cookies now!

ZOMBIESSS!!!!!
at
9:55 AM
I don't get this new snack called "Zombie Meat". Is it meat for zombies, or is it meat made from zombies? Not that it really matters because the name "Zombie Meat" is really cool, and the idea of eating blue dried meat makes it even cooler.
