Swiss Chalet is not Swiss at all.

When you’re on a road trip through Canada, and you just came back from an extended period overseas you’d have to be nuts not to get yourself a Swiss Chalet dinner. For those that have never head of Swiss Chalet… well you just don’t understand Canada.

For desert they have a special sundae for the summer. Sure it looks pretty normal, but it has one great addition. It’s sprinkled with cinnamon sugar on the top. I’ve never heard of anybody doing this before and it tastes great.

Swiss Chalet rocks! The dipping sauce is the whole reason for going.

Chocolate and cinnamon are great together, often used in baking recipes.

Really, I didn't know that. I'll have to poke around and see what other cinnamon and chocolate treats I can find.
