Few people realize that making chocolate bars or other chocolate treats is really the last part of the process. Obviously the cocoa has to be grown, but after that the cocoa beans must be processed into something that can be turned into a bar. Some chocolate bar manufacturing companies are starting to process their own cocoa beans now, but many are still buying their chocolate and processed cocoa from companies like De Zaan. De Zaan has been processing cocoa for 100 years now, and that's pretty impressive.
