Friday Candy Video

I don't really understand the full gist of this "Glorp Gum" commercial.  I don't think it's really about the gum, but instead I think it has more to do with selling t-shirts.  I'm not saying that it's not totally awesome though, in fact I think this retro commercial is one of the greatest pieces of modern candy animation ever made.
