Got Some Girl Guide Cookies (Canadian Edition)
at
3:00 PM
My friend Carrie recently sent me 6 boxes of Girl Guide cookies. Let me get this straight, these are not Girl Scout cookies from the U.S.A, these are Girls Guide cookies from Canada. While I like the Girl Scout cookies from the U.S.A, these have a much more nostalgic place in my heart.
Thanks Carrie!!!

Great Cookie Graph
at
4:04 AM
Wired posted what I can only describe as the best graph to represent the most popular types of Girl Guide cookies. Not only does it inform me that way too many people enjoy the Samoas/Caramel deLites, but it also makes me want to eat said chart. This chart ranks as the second best food related chart I've ever seen.
This is the first.

Rules For Selling Girl Guide Cookies
at
6:51 PM
I just read an interesting article that talks about the etiquette of selling Girl Guide Cookies. I have to say the first paragraph of the article
"This is the time of year when the Girl Scouts offer up Thin Mints, Do-si-dos, Lemon Chalet Cremes and Samoas – ah, Samoas, with their mad scientist blend of rich chocolate, delicate shortbread, gooey caramel and chewy coconut!"
makes me think of one more rule that should be heavily enforced. Always make sure that if you have a box of cookies, share some with your favorite Candy Critic.
