Classic/Creative Candy Advertisement

I've never really thought of Almond Joy or Mounds as a Hawaiian candy. Although Peter Paul, the company that makes Almond Joy and Mounds started in Connecticut, I can see that the flavours they produce have a Hawaiian feel to them.  With coconuts and almonds being flavours one associates with the Hawaiian islands, it makes sense to sell them as tropical/exotic treats.

Two Things About This Article Made Me Smile

First of all it's great to hear that Hawaii is starting to grow cocoa. Secondly this article has what could possibly be the coolest photo ever, all I can say is it involves a cut open cocoa pod and a lizard.
