In This Episode Of Junk Fud On The Road We Check Out Two Of The Nicest Countries In The World
at
10:00 AM
Allison and I generally don't like to visit the same country twice, yet I can see us going back to South Africa and Botswana sometime in the future. At the very least we'll be able to stock up on South African Rusks, one of the best treats in the world.

Disappearing For A While
at
5:00 PM
The adventure I have planned is pretty epic, and I'm sure I'll have many stories to tell during and after this adventure. Till then, the blog will be a little slow on the updates since I'm not sure what the internet availability will be while I'm gone. Some of our regular columns will not be updating Candy News, New Reviews, and This Week In Candy will not be running. I have however decided to delight you with a weekly candy joke... I assure you that none of them are that funny.
When I get back I'll most likely have lots to tell you guys about, and if I get some time (and internet availability) I'll be sure to let you guys know of any sweet adventures I've had so far.
Till then, have a good holiday season.

This Week In Candy
at
12:00 PM
First of all I want to mention that we're giving away a really great prize, a Chanukah House Kit. The cool thing about this prize is you can visit Manishchewitz's (the company that makes these cool candy houses) Facebook page, enter your Chanukah house, and you could walk away with 500 bucks cash. Even if you don't win the contest, you still get to eat your Chanukah house.
We're also starting a new segment on Candy Critic called Desserted. The segment is going to be a quick review on desserts from restaurants that I visit. At first I think I'll just post these articles as I sample the desserts, but maybe in the future it'll turn into a regular feature.
I'm also gearing up for a big adventure, but I'll have more about that later.
