Tuesday's Candy Links

More chocolate, more selection, this is the kind of news I like to hear from local chocolate makers.

If you think that the size of cola servings is the problem with the world today, you can pretty much just blame Pepsi.

If you have several thousand dollars to blow on a meal today, here's a list of 15 of the World’s Most Expensive Foods. Did the $25,000 sundae catch your eye, here's some specifics on it.

Today Is National Sundae Day

Strange that "National Sundae Day" is on a Thursday don't you think?  Maybe it originated on a Sunday but has since kept moving.  Although one would imagine that they could always do an Easter like timing and say it's the second Sunday in November.

It's National Soft Ice Cream Day!

Soft ice cream is so versatile and really allows for so many cool treats. Sure a cone is fine, but soft ice cream also makes it possible to have such yummy treats as the one pictured above.

And the award goes to…

If I had to rate my favourite desert made by a chain, that was most consistent I’d have to give the award to Dairy Queens Peanut Buster Parfait. These things are always tasty and always consistent. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad one in my life. It’s not to say it’s the best desert I’ve ever had, it’s just that when a craving hits and I want something good for sure it’s my pick.
