What's the sexiest food you know, chocolate, oysters... asparagus?!!
I normally don't link to other people's snack reviews, but I highly doubt I'll ever review edible underwear myself.
Get the full scoop on Candy Hearts, then get yourself a full scoop of Candy Hearts.
Of this list of ways to say I love you using food, I think "let a jar of Nutella do the talking" is good enough for me.
So does wine and chocolate really go together? I'm convinced that everything goes with chocolate, so the answer is yes.
Apparently who you vote for may actually have a connection to what kind of candy you like.
Boing Boing has posted two really interesting articles that I feel tell the real problem with obesity in the world right now. Here's the first, and here's the second.
If you need to argue that chocolate might be a health food, read this article, and amaze your friends.
Here's an interesting study that deals with how we are affected by candy advertising.
I find it odd that the closer we get to Valentine's Day, the more recipes I'm discovering for candy themed alcoholic drinks.

This Week's Chewy Review
at
10:00 AM
I wonder if anybody is going to make savory flavored gummy treats? I'm not saying that it would work, I'm just curious to try them. The folks at Haribo, who made the treat from this week's review, are pretty much the go to company when it comes to gummies, after all, they invented the gummy bear. So maybe they'd be interested in trying something a little daring, something out of the box, maybe they'll make me some garlic flavored gummies.

In the Democratic Republic of Congo there are some new ideas to help the chocolate industry, and more importantly help the people working in the chocolate industry.
There are legal troubles between Haribo and Lindt, and it's all over the idea of a "Golden Bear".
Pepsi is offering a new drink called Kickstart, apparently it looks and tastes like Mountain Dew, but it's designed as a morning pick-me-up.
Which one of these items is not actually available dipped in chocolate: Onions, pickles, carrots, Slim Jims, squid, or peppers. If you answered this question then you answered incorrectly.
How do you feel about pairing red wine and chocolate, some love it, this person thinks you're crazy.
A judge White Plains New York has approved some sort of legal technicalities, these technicalities are the first step towards Americans getting the Twinkie back.
When you eat chocolate bark, is there ever too much stuff in it? Is there ever anything too strange, or salty?
I wrote a few weeks back about a company that was producing chocolate flavoured envelopes, well now Belgium is producing the stamps to go with it.
Not chocolate cheesecake, but just chocolate cheese, yup it exists.
Did you get a box of chocolates for Valentines Day this year, who's name was on it and why?
Food themed tourist attractions are really taking off and, Nestle has just announced its newest attraction on the original site where they were founded in Switzerland.

Chocolate Wine
at
6:37 PM
I've heard of wine and chocolate making a good pairing. Many people suggest a little dark chocolate and a glass of red wine makes a stellar combination. So why not simplify it and make a chocolate infused wine? Done and done.

Mixing Wine and Chocolate
at
12:17 PM
Most people would agree that the best wine to go with chocolate is a red wine. The thing is, there are many varieties of red wine available, each with a different taste. So the question goes on, which red wine goes best with a box of chocolates?

Not Sure What To Do Tonight
at
4:32 PM
Well maybe staying at home watching Dick Clarke (or whomever they have doing it now) wouldn't be such a bad idea. Particularly when you celebrate with a bottle of nice wine and a bar of great chocolate. Wait a minute, don't know which wine goes with which chocolate, well the folks at Lindt have got your back.

at
9:28 AM
If you're into chocolate, I imagine you are since you're reading this blog, and you're also into wine, then head over to the Wine and Chocolate event in support of the Stoneham Theater. I love it when candy can help out the arts.

Cheerwine Donuts
at
1:01 PM
I'm not sure what exactly cheerwine is, but I'm sure it's gotta be tasty in a donut. I mean wine, donuts, it's the perfect combination. It takes the minds of the folks at Krispy Kreme to come up with this kind of thing.

It Appears That Chocolate is Not The Cure.
at
11:37 AM
According to some scientific research it appears that wine, coffee, and chocolate may not be as good for the heart as some have claimed. More to the point, these items do have some value to the heart but should not be the main source of antioxidants because they don't contain enough of the good stuff. As treats they're a great choice, but a balanced diet is important as well.
