M&M's In Space

Did you know that M&Ms are space food?  According to this article they've been a part of the US space program since 1981.  They've also made a series of special M&Ms for the last shuttle mission.  Both the ground crew and the crew in space get some special edition M&Ms for the mission.

Outside Writing Project

I just wanted to announce a little side project that I'm working on right now.  After offering my services to the upcoming Special Olympics happening here in Athens this summer, Team Canada asked me if I would be willing to be the official travel blogger for all of the athletes, families, and fans of Team Canada.  I was thrilled at the opportunity and the first installment of the blog has gone online.  Most of all I look forward to cheering on Team Canada here in Athens at the games this summer.

Paul Frank Chocolate Bars

I love monkeys and I love chocolate, so the Paul Frank special edition of the Nestle Crunch bar should be pretty cool.

Kit Kat Is Working On Fair Trade

I just read this article about a special edition Kit Kat coming out for Christmas this year and apparently the whole run will be made with fair trade chocolate. Nestle claims that they want to eventually make every Kit Kat with fair trade chocolate but at this time there isn't enough fair trade chocolate to handle the huge production that goes into Kit Kat.

Fancy Marshmallows

I'm not sure if the trend of fancy marshmallows is going to catch on and grow to the level of cupcakes. For those out of the loop, cupcakes are now the new black (or so I'm told). But decadent marshmallows are a trend that I can see always staying at the fringes of popular snacking never really going the full distance. I'm not upset by this at all, in fact I think it's good for those making these great treats because it keeps them from having to deal with larger companies trying to flood the market with lesser quality products... see cupcakes.

It’s March 5th!

And that means two things. First of all, it’s my birthday and secondly, my yoghurt has gone bad.

Candy Holiday Gift Idea

This Holiday Season I’ve decided to let you guys in on every single Christmas, Hanukah, or any other holiday related candy deal that I get my hands on. Apparently days after Halloween is pretty much open season to start off the adventure. TCHO has a gift box full of great treats that would make any Candy Critic (hint, hint) smile.
