A Pink Bunny Candy Thing

While looking at things to feature for Easter on the weekly Candy Thing post, I realized that the Easter Bunny may be the only holiday character that really doesn't have a gender.  That means that this slightly sexy Easter Bunny costume might actually be appropriate.  Personally I think it would be great if the Easter Bunny was a girl, after all there aren't that many holiday themed characters that are women.  However this costume doesn't really demonstrate how much this idea is a great step in the direction toward equality for women in the field of holiday characters.

A Cool Candy Thing

I'm not sure what came first, the expression "Sugar Daddy" or the candy.  Fortunately it appears that the candy company has taken full advantage of the expression, and uses it regularly.  I'm not really sure if it's appropriate to combine the idea of a man that has lots of money supporting a woman (often with sexual overtones), and a chewy candy thing on a stick, but I'm not a good judge of morality either.

Imagine this, your lovely wife (or girlfriend) is having a baby.  Congratulations!  I'm sure she's going to be craving all kinds of foods, I imagine gummy bears might even be on that list.  Wouldn't it be fun to get her a T-shirt that both deals with her cravings, and the fact that she's pregnant?  Then you would be the most clever man in her life.  Just because you can't always predict this kind of thing, if you're wife (or girlfriend) is pregnant, why not pick up one of these shirts, just in case she starts craving gummy bears.

A Store Called Gelato...

Who in the world opens a store, calls it "Gelato", and then sells kids cloths, and no gelato?!!  Do they enjoy making me mad, do they enjoy teasing unsuspecting candy fanatics like me?  It just seems mean.
